Whispers of Healing Sue Mills

AMAZING!!! Such an amazing book!! This is Sam’s story! This book will take you on a rollarcoaster of emotions. Once I started I could not put down! It’s truly addicting, and would make a great Netflix movie!! Highly highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to read more! This series and this book lives in my head and heart!!!

Whispers of Healing centers in Sam’s story post Boston. Battling with an empty home, co-parenting, and various mental challenges, we see Sam begin to find himself. At a less spicy and slower pace than other “Whispers of” novels, this one really hits home for me. I adored it in such a different way than the others in the series as it was very relatable to what I have gone through. While most of the series is Cozy Romance, this one is definitely a book of healing and is well worth the read.

This was such a cute story of Sam’s point-of-view. A LOT of emotional/mental baggage that he has endured throughout his life. I love how Sue created the perfect story of forgiveness and healing in his regard.
Piper was probably one of my favorite characters in this story because she is a reflection of what many young kids are currently going through. She’s so sweet and innocent, and totally oblivious to the stresses in life. But I sense her situation will change as the series continues.

I loved this book it was so great to get a more in depth look at Sam’s backstory and his life!! I love Piper and was happy to see her story come to life as well. These books have all been so great and relatable for a lot of us, Sue does such a great job bringing to light real life struggles and how people cope differently with them. Can’t wait to continue on with this series and find out what happens with Sam and Sophie!!

Whispers of Healing is a Steamy Second Chance Romance
With a strong narrative that explores the themes of loss, healing, and self-discovery. The story centers around Sam Carpenter, an architect whose life is turned upside down when his partner, Norah, leaves him. This departure not only takes away their shared furniture but also half the time with their six-year-old daughter, Piper. The novel beautifully captures Sam’s journey as he navigates the emotional turmoil of a fractured family amidst the serene yet cold backdrop of Vermont’s snow-covered mountains. Sam’s encounters with Quinn Michaels, his first love, provide a compelling subplot that questions whether he is ready to move on or if he is merely seeking an escape from his current reality. The novel also addresses Sam’s co-dependent patterns, offering a thought-provoking exploration of personal growth and the journey to break free from unhealthy cycles. Whispers of Healing
is a compelling journey of love, loss, and healing. Its portrayal of complex family dynamics and personal journeys will captivate readers who appreciate raw authenticity and emotional depth. This novel is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of rebuilding one’s life from the ground up. Whether you have experienced loss or are simply seeking a profound journey, Whispers of Healing
offers a moving narrative that will stay with you long after the final page.

This book is like the first three that Sue has written, perfect with all the feels. I love Sam, and to read his point of view on things was sad. Sam had a hard life growing up. He didn’t have the best dad in the world, and even though he broke up with Quinn years ago, he still has feelings for her. This book also introduces us to Sam’s long time live in girlfriend and his daughter Piper. Who ends up moving out. Even though Sam still has feelings for Quinn, he is trying his best to step up and do what’s right for his daughter. This book also touches on mental health and how it’s ok to seek help. Sam has a lot of work to do on himself, and I can’t wait to see what Sue has in store for him in her future books. I do hope he gets his happy ending. I gave this book a five-star because not only was it good, but Sue has made Sam’s personality and problems likable and relatable. I absolutely loved this book and Sam.

This is probably my favorite so far . In this story we finally get to see Sam’s perspective and how he is doing in life with him family. I loved getting to read about piper “she’s adorable “ and also seeing Sam grow throughout his experiences he has had. This story even made me teary eyed because these are so relatable the experiences Sue writes about . I liked how Sam learned to take accountability and I can’t wait to see if he finds a love interest in the future someone who can give him not only what he needs but deserves despite his previous attempts . This story is definitely 5/5 for me .

Loved this book!! I adore Sam. I love the depths this book went into with Sam’s feelings/mental health. I was really hoping for Sam to have his own book.

Sam has struggle with his father’s alcoholism for years and now his long term girlfriend has decided to move out. Sam faces having to deal with this break up, having to split custody of his daughter Piper, learning to be content with being alone and trying to mend his relationship with his parents.

This book was very well written and I cannot wait for the next book! Netflix needs to make this a series!

Amazing job Sue!!!

Love this series so much. This book continues where Whispers of Forgiveness left us. Sam is arriving back home to an empty house and has to learn how to navigate through life now as a single father.

Sam has been estranged from his family for years and is reunited with them and we watch the relationships flourish again.
There are sections that are told from Sam’s perspective in this book, that we read from Quinn’s perspective in Mistletoe and Starlight.

Each book just keeps getting better and better.

Loved this book of Sam’s story and it was much needed. His story is so good and I understand him more that I know more about him and his daughter pip is so adorable. I really hope that he finds love because he deserves it. I love all of Sue’s books and can’t wait to read more of her books soon. You will have to check out her series it is so worth reading.
